Date: 9th October 2014
Time/Place: 7PM, Keyworth Centre – London South Bank University, SE1 6 London, United Kingdom
Detail:
Game audio techniques are continuously evolving. Procedural and generative music techniques are increasingly being used to augment conventional recording techniques.
These processes offer tantalising possibilities for music and sound in games including the potential for great variety.
What are the advantages and disadvantages of both conventional and procedural audio production? What are the implications for development? When is recording or performance the way to go? And what is the middle ground between these two?
This free event starts at 7 pm, and, as always, we’ll throw in a lovely pub visit for afterwards.
The event is open to all, so feel free to send the invite around…
